Over the past 16 years, I have worked for various shipping, distribution, and trading companies. I have amassed, knowledge in how to move cargo around the world, sourcing, and pricing, and cross trades, while sitting far from either source or destination. At present, I’m in the UAE and the idea I had was to set up a global consultancy firm to move mineral ores and precious metals from Africa into the markets in Asia, and the Middle East, and supplying of equipment such as transformers, ABC cables, and consumables from Asia into Africa, etc. My business approach is that of a hands-on take, where I travel to the source to see and procure products, and to the destination on arrival, to make sure the right cargo is delivered safely and on time.
